He is board certified in Radiology.

The Director of the Section on Bone Radiology at UCLA from 1975 to 1978, Dr. Mink subsequently assumed the positions of Director of Musculoskeletal Imaging and Director of Magnetic Resonance Imaging at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center Los Angeles. He was honored with a full-time appointment to the Department of Radiology at UCLA for four years, and was the recipient of the teacher of the year award both at UCLA and at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Dr. Mink currently serves as an Associate Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco. He was elected to fellowship in the American College of Radiology in 1995.

Dr. Mink's academic accomplishments are well known to the radiologic, orthopedic and rheumatologic communities. Dr. Mink is the author of five major textbooks on musculoskeletal imaging. In addition, he has written 22 textbook chapters and more than 70 original articles in peer-reviewed journals. He currently is a reviewer for manuscripts submitted to Radiology, Clinical Orthopedics, and Arthroscopy.

Marshall E. Bein, MD

Dr Marshall Bein | Radiologist Beverly Hills CA | Marina Del Rey CADr. Bein received his undergraduate degree in biology from Boston University and his M.D. and M.S. in physiology from the University of Louisville School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and then a second residency in diagnostic radiology at UCLA Center for the Health Sciences.

After fulfilling a one year fellowship in chest radiology at Yale University School of Medicine, Dr. Bein returned to UCLA to direct the section of chest radiology for nearly five years. He then moved on to private practice and has been specializing in body imaging for the past 30 years.

Board certified in both Internal Medicine and Radiology, Dr. Bein has extensive experience in chest imaging, especially high resolution CT. He is skilled in all applications of CT and MR imaging of the abdomen and pelvis. His interest and expertise in ultrasound includes abdomen, pelvis, small parts and sonohysterography imaging.
